I completely support Barack Obama, and Joe Biden as Vice President.

Barack’s speech was phenomenal! I think he was persuasive and eloquent, but also was tough on the issues that needed it. Plus, I’ve liked Joe Biden from the start, so obviously I was thrilled that Obama chose him as VP. I believe that McCain will be nothing but a 3rd term for America, and it’s something we cannot and should not allow.

My biggest negative factor about Obama in the beginning was that he did not have enough “Washington” experience. He has not been a senator for very long, and his record may not be as extensive as John McCain’s, but I can say that Obama has the motive and the selflessness that our government has not seen in a very long time. I believe that he truly cares about restoring our constitution, repairing our problems in a responsible fashion, and overall, restoring and recreating the American way.

You could probably guess that I would rave about President Clinton’s speech. As always, he was awesome. If we former Hillary supporters don’t have the Clinton’s “okay” to support Obama now, I don’t know what else could persuade the other who are still unsure. I’m confident that Obama will award Hillary Clinton a high position in his cabinet.

Onto Joe Biden’s speech; I really like that he’s straight-forward and he really doesn’t care if he offends people with the truth that needs to be told. I really admire his son, Beau Biden, as his introduction for his father was heartfelt and sincere. Beau Biden is a general in the military, and is being deployed in October. Not only is Joe Biden’s voting record in the senate concrete, it’s also extensive. If anyone doubted Obama’s experience, as I did, I would hope that they feel more confident with Joe Biden as the vice president. I think that they will really even each other out, especially as far as experience is concerned.

I must say, if John McCain selects Joe Lieberman as his vice president, that SHOULD turn away most of the ahem politically intelligent republicans away. (I had to snicker at “politically intelligent” and “republican” in the same sentence, but moving on..)

Well, that’s what I’ve got to say… If I didn’t bore you with my 5 paragraphs of political raving and rambling…

I’m excited to announce that I will be taking the GED test after I turn 16 this year. I’ve decided that I have generally met the high school standards of my education, and that I can easily move on to take the GED test, and then on to community college. I’m going to pursue cosmetology, just because it’s something fun to do in community college. I’m now narrowing down my 4 year universities. My top pick is Baylor, as I’m going to be a lawyer. My reach college is American University.

This action-packed thriller certainly delivered. The graphics were very well done, and the acting was fantastic. Though, there were a few things I did not care for. Firstly, the background of Javier Bardem’s character Anton Chigurh. He was just some psychotic, ruthless killer. But many, many questions are raised throughout this film.

Was Anton a split personality to Tommy Lee Jones‘ character, Ed Tom Bell? Many indicators bring this question up. There was one specific scene where Anton goes into Lewellyn’s trailer and sits in the center of the couch, directly in front of a television set, there is then a moment where Anton is staring at his reflection in the TV set. Shortly after Anton left the trailer, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell and another officer go into Lewellyn’s trailer. Sheriff Bell sits exactly where Anton sat, and then stares into the TV set, exactly as Anton did. There is another part towards the end when Sheriff Bell enters the motel where Lewellyn was first at. It shows Anton, as if if were looking and waiting for the sheriff, because the small keyhole and other lights shone on his face. But then, the sheriff searches the room, and it appears that no one is there.

I just today wrapped up my 2nd reading of Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I absolutely love this book. If you plan on reading it to conduct your own research, like I did, there’s a couple things I suggest while reading Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

•  Use post-it notes throughout reading the books. Make references to names, dates, places, and other important references. There is a lot to wrap your head around, and it’s even more difficult to remember everything you read while conducting research.
• Reference important page numbers! This helped me out so much. If you don’t make note of the exact reference, just make note of the page number.

• Read Angels & Demons BEFORE The Da Vinci Code. While it may be tempting to just skip to the hyped Da Vinci Code, it’s important to read the 1st book; Angels & Demons, first. Not only is it just as good of a read as The Da Vinci Code, it’s basically the prologue for The Da Vinci Code. Lot’s of stuff you need to know if in Angels & Demons.

Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code are full of complex issues and topics. The Illuminati, The Knights Templar, Bernini and Galileo, some very controversial topics concerning Jesus, among the vast array of other topics. I don’t know if I would recommend these books to people who have absolutely no knowledge of those topics, because, with out at least some background history on the topics, your going to be lost. So, do your home work first!
